After launch, we manage the hosting, monitor performance, handle updates and continue improving the website every month. Security, speed, SEO and content, all maintained as part of the ongoing relationship.

How long does a website take to build?
Most suitable website projects can have a strong first live version ready within 7 to 15 working days, depending on the size, content, features and how quickly information is provided. More complex ecosystems, booking systems, CRMs, automation, customer portals or multi-location platforms, may go live in phases. We focus on launching a strong first version first, then continue improving and expanding the system every month.
How is pricing structured?
Every project is quoted around the work involved, the features required and the level of ongoing support needed. Starter Website, Growth Website and Scale / Custom Systems projects are scoped after discovery so the quote reflects the work, support and commercial goal. We always make clear whether a price is monthly, one-off or a custom scoped engagement before work begins.
Do you work with WordPress, Shopify or Wix?
We only work with WordPress or Shopify when it is explicitly required. We do not work with Wix. By default, we build from scratch around the business, including the full code, custom software and custom themes on top of our own stack, avoiding third-party dependencies where possible.
What is included in managed hosting?
Managed hosting includes fast server infrastructure, security monitoring, regular backups, software and plugin updates, performance optimisation and direct technical support. The website stays secure and commercially useful without you managing the technical side.
Do you work with businesses outside Wolverhampton?
Yes. We work with businesses across the UK: Birmingham, Manchester, London, Leeds, Glasgow and beyond. Local presence in Wolverhampton and the West Midlands, but the service is fully UK-wide.
Can I start small and scale later?
Yes. Most businesses start with a strong, well-built website. Systems like booking tools, CRM, automation and customer portals can be added in phases as the business grows and the budget allows.
What if I already have a website?
We can redesign an existing website, migrate it to better hosting, improve its SEO performance or add systems on top. In some cases a rebuild is the right move. In others, improving what exists is more efficient. We will be honest about which.
Can you replace my current web agency?
Yes. Many businesses move to VV Design from traditional agencies where updates were slow, communication was poor or costs were unclear. We offer direct technical execution, faster turnaround and a managed service that keeps the website moving forward without the layers.
Do you sign contracts?
Yes. Every project begins with a clear written agreement covering scope, deliverables, timelines and pricing. No surprises, no hidden fees.
