Custom Next.js Website with In-House CMS, Managed Hosting & SEO Support

Ross Payton Boat Painting Website | Next.js, Custom CMS & Managed Growth

A custom Next.js website built for Ross Payton Boat Painting, a family-run boat painting and repair specialist based at Teddesley Boat Yard, Penkridge. The project included a modern responsive website, a bespoke in-house CMS created around the client’s own requests, managed hosting, SEO-ready page structure, cookie consent, social media integration and ongoing website development. Rather than using a generic template or off-the-shelf CMS, VV Design built a tailored digital setup that gives the business a professional online presence, easier content control and a stronger foundation for long-term visibility, authority building and future growth.

Travel platform

Travel Comparison Platform with Flight, Hotel and Insurance Search System

Travel comparison platform built for speed, clarity, and future growth Jettica is a custom travel platform created to bring multiple travel services into one clean and modern digital experience. The project started as a simple travel search concept, then evolved into a wider platform designed to support flights, car hire, eSIMs, travel content, destination pages, and future provider integrations. The aim was to remove the friction travellers often face when comparing services across multiple websites. Instead of sending users from one provider to another, Jettica brings the journey into one central hub, helping visitors search, compare, and explore travel options through a smooth and responsive interface. The platform was designed with a strong visual identity, using a futuristic dark interface, bright travel-focused highlights, clear calls to action, and a layout built around usability. Every section was planned to feel modern and premium while keeping the search experience simple and easy to understand. Behind the design, Jettica was structured as a scalable digital product rather than a basic travel website. The system is built to support third-party travel providers, affiliate widgets, API integrations, SEO landing pages, blog content, and future expansion into more travel services. This gives the platform room to grow as the business develops. A major focus was placed on performance, mobile responsiveness, and conversion. The interface adapts across desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile devices, giving users a consistent experience wherever they browse. The website structure also supports long-term SEO growth, helping the platform attract organic traffic through service pages, travel guides, and destination-focused content. The final result is a modern travel ecosystem that combines design, technology, search functionality, and monetisation potential into one platform built for long-term growth. What We Delivered Custom travel platform design Responsive layout for all devices Flight search focused interface Car hire, eSIM, blog, and travel service structure Affiliate and provider integration framework SEO-ready page architecture Performance-focused front-end experience Scalable foundation for future APIs and services Modern brand direction and user journey planning Project Outcome Jettica evolved from a travel search idea into a scalable digital platform with the foundation to become a full travel comparison ecosystem. It now presents travel services in a cleaner, smarter, and more user-friendly way, while giving the business space to grow through content, partnerships, affiliate revenue, and future integrations.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

More detailed answers on our How We Work page.

How long does a website take to build?
Most suitable website projects can have a strong first live version ready within 7 to 15 working days, depending on the size, content, features and how quickly information is provided. More complex ecosystems, such as booking systems, CRMs, automation, customer portals or multi-location platforms, may go live in phases. In those cases, we focus on launching a strong first version first, then continue improving and expanding the system every month.
Do you build custom websites or use templates?
We build custom websites and web applications. Every project is structured around the specific business, audience and commercial goal, not forced into a template. We use React, Next.js and fully custom code as standard. WordPress is available when it is the right fit for the brief.
Do you offer managed hosting?
Yes. Managed hosting is part of our long-term service. It includes fast server infrastructure, security monitoring, regular backups, software updates and direct technical support. The website stays secure and commercially useful without you managing the technical side.
Can you build booking systems or CRM systems?
Yes. We build booking flows, CRM tools, customer portals, staff dashboards and automation in-house, not using off-the-shelf plugins that limit what you can do. These systems are designed to integrate with the website and grow as the business does.
Do you work with WordPress?
Yes, when it is the right fit. WordPress is one option we use for content-managed business websites. For performance-critical builds, web applications, custom platforms and business systems, we use React, Next.js and fully custom code. We recommend the right technology for the brief, not the easiest one.
Do you build Next.js websites?
Yes. For businesses that need a fast, scalable website with advanced features, we build in Next.js. It delivers excellent performance, strong Core Web Vitals scores and flexible architecture for businesses that need more than a standard CMS.
Do you help with SEO?
Full SEO is built into every project from the start: clean architecture, proper metadata, internal linking, structured data and fast load times. We also offer ongoing SEO work including content structure, authority building and Google Business Profile support.
Do you work with businesses outside Wolverhampton?
Yes. We work with businesses across the UK, including Birmingham, Manchester, London and beyond. Local presence in Wolverhampton and the West Midlands, but the service is UK-wide.
How does ongoing development work?
After launch, we manage the hosting and continue improving the website every month. That includes performance monitoring, SEO improvements, content updates, new features and technical maintenance. The website grows as the business does.
Can you replace my current web agency?
Yes. Many businesses move to VV Design from traditional agencies where updates were slow, communication was difficult or costs were unclear. We offer direct technical execution, faster turnaround and a managed service that keeps the website moving forward.
